Hi, I’m the Mac & Cheese Chick…welcome to my new blog!
As you’ve probably deduced, it’s going to be about all things macaroni and cheese. Since childhood, I have had an unhealthy obsession with mac and cheese. Most people outgrow this but it stuck with me and here I am, now writing an ode to the darn stuff. I love it in all forms. Blue box (both powder and cheese sauce versions), Velveeta-ized, homemade on the stove, homemade in the oven, restaurant-made, frozen (shout-out to Stouffer’s, I love you guys!!!), you name it, I eat it. And love it.
I’m a bit of a mac and cheese purist but am always willing to try the latest add-in, like lobster. And in case you’re watching your, ahem, figure (or would like others to watch it, insert Groucho Marx wiggling eyebrows here), I’ll be posting about fit versions of various mac and cheese that I come across in your very own section called Fit Fridays.
If it has to do with mac and cheese, it’s fair game for this blog. I’ll be testing recipes and letting you know how they turn out and I’ll also be trying mac and cheese out and about on the town. I also have a family favorite recipe that’s been passed down from generation to generation, and if you’re lucky I just may share it with you one of these days.
